CHICAGO, April 19, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield has recruited Kevin Clifton and Chris Cummins to join the firm’s growing Chicago suburban office team. Mr. Clifton joins as Executive Vice President from CBRE; Mr. Cummins joins as Executive Director from Colliers. Previously Mr. Clifton and Mr. Cummins worked as a suburban agency leasing team at Colliers, and have now brought that successful business model to Cushman & Wakefield.

Mr. Clifton and Mr. Cummins are the third and fourth significant recruits to join Cushman & Wakefield’s suburban office practice this year. Previously joining were tenant representation specialists Jonathan Metzl in early January and Sean Kropke earlier this week.

Mr. Clifton specializes in the leasing and sale of significant office properties, working on behalf of his clients to maximize the value of office properties that have substantial vacancy or major leases expiring.
During Mr. Clifton’s 30-year career he has assisted many of the country’s most successful landlords, developers and corporations to build the value of their real estate. He has completed office transactions totaling in excess of 20 million square feet including some of the largest real estate projects in the Chicago suburban market.
Mr. Clifton was among the highest producers of CBRE’s professionals and is recognized as an office industry expert. He has been the recipient of numerous industry awards including the NAIOP Office Transaction of the Year, SIOR Office Transaction of the Year, and Chicago Office Broker of the Year.
Mr. Cummins specializes in working with both tenants and landlords to establish and implement strategic real estate processes. By focusing primarily in the North suburban Chicago office market, he has become an expert resource to his clients with a deep understanding of the market.
During Mr. Cummins 18-year career, he has been involved in over 10 million square feet of leases and has earned several top awards and recognitions in the industry. He was the recipient of the 2007 and 2015 NAIOP Suburban Office Transaction of the Year. In 2015, Mr. Cummins was recognized as the Top Producer in the Suburban Office Group at Colliers.
